Extended Studies Will "Cover the Gate" Friday

GUNNISON, Colo. – It’s a free night of basketball for all fans Friday night when Wells Fargo and Western State host Adams State for an RMAC doubleheader beginning at 6 p.m. in Paul Wright Gym. The Western State College Extended Studies Program will pay the gate admission price for all fans.
It’s also “Operation Red”, and fans are encouraged to wear their red in support of the Mountaineers. Friday’s main action is presented by Wells Fargo, a proud corporate partner with Western State athletics.
The Mountaineer women are looking to expand on a two-game RMAC winning streak and make some ground in the West Division standings. Western State is fourth in the division, three games behind the second-place Grizzlies.
Both men’s teams are tied for sixth in the divisional standings. A win for the Mountaineers would move them closer to a berth in the RMAC Shootout next month.
