Building Champion Leaders of Tomorrow
Life as a student-athlete at Western State College doesn't end when the final horn sounds or at the finish line. For our Mountaineers, life as a student-athlete includes working in the community and giving back to the Western State and Gunnison communities. Mountaineers also believe in the value of engaging in our campus and communities as well as engaging our campus and communities in our athletic events. Listed below are some of the ways that the Mountaineers accomplish community service/engagement. These endeavors result in positive experiences for everyone, while also developing leadership characteristics among our student-athletes.
